Meet the Doctors

Kurt S. Rothermel, D.D.S.


Dr. Rothermel is a 1987 graduate of the LSU School of Dentistry. Following graduation, he completed a four year residency as a Captain in the United States Air Force stationed at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Georgia. During this time, he received advanced Oral Surgery training at Lackland Air Force Base. Upon completion of his residency, he relocated to Crowley, Louisiana in 1991.  He then began to build his practice into a state-of-the-art facility utilizing high tech equipment to better treat his patients.  This equipment includes:

  • Digital X-Rays for comfortable and fast low-dose X-rays
  • CT Scan for implant treatment planning and visualization of complex dental problems
  • CEREC crown milling allows custom crowns, veneers and bridges for same day delivery
  • Diode laser for comfortable tissue contouring
  • Nitrous Oxide and Conscious Sedation for patients needing help with anxiety

He and his wife Sheila are the proud parents of six children and eleven grandchildren. His hobbies include woodworking and making Kentucky long rifles and Windsor chairs.

Kate Rothermel Hubbard, D.D.S.


Dr. Hubbard is a 2015 graduate of LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. She was recognized at graduation as the recipient of the following honors:

  • Robert Eastman Memorial Award for Excellence in Operative Dentistry and Biomaterials
  • Academy of General Dentistry Award
  • Fixed Prosthodontics Award of Excellence
  • Academy of Osseointegration Award for Outstanding Dental Student in Implant Dentistry

Following graduation, she relocated to Birmingham Alabama to complete an Advanced General Dentistry Residency directed by New York Lutheran Medical. She received advanced training in the areas of dental implants, osseointegration and oral surgery.  Dr. Hubbard is a member of the following professional organizations:

  • Academy of Osseointegration
  • Academy of Implantology

She is married to her high school sweetheart, Damian Hubbard, and they are residents of Crowley.  Dr. Kate enjoys reading, playing tennis and spending time with friends and family.

John S. Rothermel, D.D.S.


Dr. John Rothermel is a 2019 graduate of LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. He was recognized at graduation as the recipient of the following honors:

  • Southwest of Academy of Restorative Dentistry
  • American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry

Following graduation, he relocated to Birmingham Alabama to complete an Advanced General Dentistry Residency directed by Johnson Memorial Hospital. He received advanced training in the areas of dental implants, osseointegration and oral surgery.  Dr. Rothermel is a member of the following professional organizations:

He is married to the former Caroline Berry of Jennings and they are residents of Crowley.  Dr. John enjoys LSU football, woodworking and spending time with friends and family.
